Dear Pastor,
As a fellow church leader, I know how hard evangelism is. As committed as I am to it, even I can get swamped with all the demands of church life. That’s why I’d like to offer the help of The Philip Center –help in the form of ideas, training and coaching. The Philip Center is devoted entirely to helping churches reach out with the gospel. That’s all we do.
We’re not offering a pre-packaged plan for your church or a brief burst of energy toward evangelism. My heart is to offer ourselves as long-term encouragers so that outreach is more and more a natural part of your church life. Our style is to listen to you — to find out what your church is like and how you’d like to grow — and then to shape a tailored approach to growing in outreach that’s realistic, biblically informed and fruitful.
We’re not asking you personally to do the work that it takes to grow in evangelism. But we do ask that you champion the cause. Your visible and enthusiastic support for the work of evangelism in your church is crucial. What you can expect from us is a personal relationship with your church, a commitment to long-term coaching and our best effort to help your church grow in outreach.
We don’t charge a fee for our services. We do ask, though, that you consider supporting The Philip Center from your missions budget, just as you would any other missionary family or organization.
